The first ever UK fundraising concert for mental health, Hidden Wounds, took place on 12th November 2016, featuring Gary Barlow, The Puppini Sisters and a 17-piece swing band. The concert raised an incredible £60,000 for Help for Heroes and their psychological well-being programmes.
The concert was ground breaking attracting tweets and messages of support from Kensington Palace, Bryan Adams, Donny Osmond and Bear Grylls.
We are seeking to continue momentum by raising awareness and money to reduce the stigma of mental ill health and provide much needed services for veterans, by launching Joanne Heselden-Edwards ‘Hidden Wounds’ charity album on Friday 12th May 2017 for mental health awareness week. DOWNLOAD HERE.
